Operation Sleep Disorder
Today was to be day 1 of Operation Sleep Disorder. My work schedule next week requires that I switch up my sleep cycle so as to not be a zombie during the 1st shift hours I’ll be pretending to work. My attempt to push back my sleep time into the early afternoon has thus far failed spectacularly!
Thursday morning found me without donuts as I lied down (not that I would have taken donuts to bed) for what I hoped would be a 2 hour nap. That damn nap lasted roughly from 3am to 8am. Then I fell asleep again from 11am to 2:30pm. Basically, I slept right through 1st shift. Good thing I didn’t have to work yesterday, or today, for that matter.
Or did all of the above happen to me today? Shit! I can’t remember which day it was now! All of my days and meals, and naps have run together! AM and PM are nearly meaningless to me now. I think I’m destined to be rubbish next week on 1st shift if I don’t get this sleep disorder shite settled in the next two days.
On a brighter note, I’m now hooked on Psychoville, an excellently fuct-up show on BBC.
