Azureus Stopped Working

without comments

Over the weekend, I updated Azureus on openSUSE to the latest version found on the Packman Repository (I think).  Some time after that, it stopped loading when I clicked the shortcut.  I’m not sure if this is because of the version of Java that I’m running or what.  Right now I’m downloading the latest version of Java.  Hopefully that will fix it.

I also updated quite a few KDE files, and that might be to blame.  I’m really grasping at straws right now to fix this problem.  It could just be a borked dependency.  I have a feeling that this little problem will bother me for the rest of the night while I’m at work.

Another Critical Strike

without comments

Josh, Kyle, and I banged out another episode of the Critical Strike, our little video game podcast, last night. I put the finishing touches on it this morning. Josh will be releasing it shortly over at Critical-Strike.org. In this episode we run down our lists of our top five favorite casual games. We do the Video Game Music Challenge. We gave a brief progress report on the games we said we intended to finish by the end of 2008.

One thing we are doing in this episode is asking our listeners to vote for the MVP (Most Valuable Podcaster) of the podcast. So please listen to episode 15, then head over to the forum (which requires that you register), and vote for (me!) the one of us that you think brings the most to this episode. Or you can leave a comment on the site where the podcast episode is posted. Please vote for Keith!
